The Seattle Aquarium

Thursday, Mom and I took Anali to the Seattle Aquarium. One of her favorite "words" lately is fish, which she says like "sh, sh" as she makes the sign for it. She was beside herself when I let her reach in and pet the starfish and other sea creatures (it's allowed). She wanted to climb in, at one point. Our favorite was the octupus, who would swim right up against our faces and give us quite a view.

Looks like you are having a great summer. How did the master programs go? was it as hard as you thought? Thanks for the updates! Janie

Spending the afternoon at the Seattle Aquarium with you two, Rachel and Anali, was so awesome. The fact that it included one of Anali's "firsts" made it a particularly special time for me. Rach, thank you for making the day work!

As you know, Anali's exuberance at discovering and experiencing life makes any time around her significantly richer. Watching her running open-armed after life brings such joy and causes me to think about such things as…
The Lord’s desire for us all to come to Him as little children
What trust looks like
What pure joy looks like
What things you two are doing right

God must absolutely thrill in you three... I sure do!!

Much Love and Respect,
Mom (Ona)
