Inspired to Write

Dozens of pages
should
be filled by now

Blanks accuse me
but I don't
shame

I am a mother

I am the waking and sleeping
love
of my daughter's eyes

I am fierce and not afraid
of narrow definitions
of What it looks like
to follow a dream

My prose has delicate fingers
and my poetry is written
on the cooing lips
of a Greatest Work

Rachel,
My heart is continuously filled with thanksgiving to God for His beautiful creation in you and through you. His perfect and precious gift of Anali and your words today are wonderful examples! ~ Mom

Rachel and Brandon,
You have such a beautiful little girl. Those shoes remind me of a cabbage patch doll. They're so cute. She is getting so big so fast! Can't wait to see you all soon!
Love,
Tanya
